About Aikido

Aikido Classes
Classes for adults are available year-round. Regular classes are three times per week in Nelson.  Plus there are weekend intensives four times per year.

Aikido is a dynamic martial art emphasizing harmony and nonviolence. Classes are non-competitive, mutually supportive and fun! The weekly practice teaches balance, coordination, respect for self and others, centering, falling, rolling, and a cooperative attitude.

From time to time, introductory courses are offered. The basics are covered slowly and thoroughly. While attending an introductory course is an excellent way to begin training, it is not a requirement for new members.
New members are always welcome to join regular classes at any time.

Please contact us for the dates of the next introductory course.

Fees
Regular adult session fees are  $300 for 3 months.
(Sessions start: Oct 1, Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1)

Introductory classes - 10 sessions - $97 plus uniform
